Work under the guidance of a golf course superintendent to learn all aspects of ground and green maintenance. Inform players of the rules of golf and/or special instructions for that day in accordance with established rules and procedures; remind players of the rules if they break them. Direct the flow of the game by moving politely through the slow groups to ensure that the 18-hole round is completed on time; monitor the game by moving across the golf course in the opposite direction of the game, being careful not to disturb or disturb the players when they are about to take a shot; record the number of players and the use of the golf car. Perform light mechanical maintenance on golf carts, including but not limited to lubricating the front ends, changing tires, maintaining proper tire pressure, and preventing battery terminal corrosion.
